About Ron
Accomplished business and community leader, Ron Stake has the qualities needed for Reynoldsburg’s next mayor.
Since 2002, Ron has been serving as Council Member-at-Large. He serves as president pro-tempore, vice chair of the Safety Committee and as Chair of the Finance Committee.
Ron is president and CEO of the Financial Benefit Corporation and serves as treasurer and trustee of the Ohio Small Business Association and treasurer, board member and legislative chair of the Ohio Life Safety and Security Association. A Reynoldsburg resident since 1991, Ron and his wife Greta, have three children, Shannon, Ronald Jr. and Logan and two grandchildren, Hunter and Hayden.
Ron holds a bachelor’s degree in political science with a concentration in public administration from Westfield State College, MA. He has completed an internship at the Center for Development Policy, Washington D.C. and leadership training at The Ohio State University’s John Glenn Institute for Public Service and Public Policy. He is also a graduate of the Municipal League Leadership Training Academy.
He served three consecutive years as president of the Reynoldsburg Republican Club and was appointed to the National Republican Congressional Committee Business Advisory Council and was awarded 2005 Businessman of the Year. Ron is also president elect of the Rotary Club of Reynoldsburg-Pickerington.
