Wendy’s Restaurant to Give Free Junior Frosty to Those Who Donate to Thanksgiving “Food Raiser” to Benefit Reynoldsburg’s Helping Hands Pantry

Saturday, November 18, 2006, 9 to 11 a.m.

REYNOLDSBURG, OH – A Junior Frosty will await those who make a donation to the Thanksgiving “Food Raiser” to benefit Reynoldsburg’s Helping Hands Food Pantry on Saturday, November 18, 2006, from 9-11 a.m.  The food raiser will be held in the parking lot of Wendy’s, 6781 E. Main Street, Reynoldsburg.  (Note: Junior Frosties will be given only at this location during the scheduled food drive.)

Main Street, with food donations to benefit those in need during this holiday season.  Helping Hands, provides emergency food services to those who live in the Reynoldsburg school district.  The pantry assists nearly 2,000 people annually. 

Reynoldsburg City Councilman Ron Stake and volunteers from the community will be on hand to collect donations.  “Reynoldsburg’s residents really embrace the spirit of holidays and being good neighbors” said Stake.  “We are fortunate to have in our community a resource like the Helping Hands.”

All money collected in lieu of food, goes directly to Helping Hands to purchase needed items not collected.  Monetary donations to Reynoldsburg Helping Hands are tax deductible since they are classified as a 501-C-2 organization by the Internal Revenue Service.
